Warranty

Replacement Warranty

Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. provides a limited lifetime warranty for windshield replacement services, covering defects in installation workmanship and materials directly related to the replacement service for as long as the customer owns or leases the vehicle.

This warranty is valid only for the original vehicle owner or lessee and is non-transferable.

Customers must notify Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. of any defect within a reasonable time after discovery, and where possible, within 30 days.

Stealth must be given the opportunity to inspect and assess the vehicle before any warranty claim is approved.

Workmanship Coverage

This warranty covers:

  • Water leaks
  • Air leaks
  • Improper installation
  • Adhesive failure directly related to installation

Exclusions – Replacement Warranty

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, impacts, or road debris after installation
  • Stress cracks not related to installation
  • Pre-existing damage, including rust, structural issues, or prior improper installations
  • Damage caused by failure to follow post-installation instructions, including safe drive-away time
  • Damage caused by extreme weather conditions, including temperature fluctuations
  • Vehicle system malfunctions, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) issues caused by manufacturer limitations or pre-existing conditions

Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. is not responsible for system malfunctions caused by pre-existing vehicle conditions or manufacturer system limitations.

Repair Warranty

Windshield repair involves injecting resin into damaged glass and does not restore the windshield to its original condition.

Coverage:

  • Chip repairs are covered under a lifetime warranty for the repaired area, provided no external damage occurs.
  • Crack repairs and crack-stop repairs carry a limited 1-year warranty due to the unpredictable nature of cracks.

Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. is not responsible for system malfunctions caused by pre-existing vehicle conditions or manufacturer system limitations.

Repair Limitations

Repairs are most effective when:

  • Damage is recent
  • Impact point is small
  • Minimal cracking is present
  • Area is free from moisture or contaminants

If a repair fails:

  • The cost of the repair may be credited toward a windshield replacement performed by Stealth Windshield Repair Inc.

If insurance paid for the repair, any applicable credit will be issued to the insurance provider.

Repair Disclaimer

In certain cases, the damage may expand during the repair process due to factors beyond technician control. This may require full replacement.

Such occurrences are not considered technician fault and are not covered under warranty.

Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. is not responsible for costs associated with replacement or additional damage in these cases.

Abuse & Repeated Damage Exclusion

This warranty does not cover:

Coverage:

  • Repeated damage in the same area
  • Patterns of damage indicating misuse or abnormal exposure
  • Damage caused intentionally or through neglect

Stealth reserves the right to refuse service in cases of suspected abuse.

Recalibration Warranty & Disclaimer

Recalibration services are covered for a period of:

  • 1 year from the recalibration date, or
  • Until the next recalibration event, whichever occurs first

A recalibration event includes:

  • Vehicle collision
  • Windshield replacement
  • Camera removal or disconnection
  • Vehicle realignment

Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. strongly recommends recalibration following any windshield replacement where applicable.

If a customer declines or refuses recommended recalibration, Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. will not be responsible for any ADAS or calibration-related issues, including but not limited to system inaccuracies, warnings, or malfunctions.

Customers must follow manufacturer recommendations and should not rely solely on advanced safety systems.

Pre-Existing Damage

Before installation, technicians perform a visual inspection and document any visible damage.

Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Hidden damage discovered during installation (e.g., rust, frame damage, pinch weld issues)

Any necessary repairs must be completed at the customer’s expense.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stealth Windshield Repair Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the repair or replacement of glass.

Liability for any direct damages shall be limited to the amount paid for the service.

Some jurisdictions in Canada may not allow certain limitations, so these exclusions may not apply in all cases.

Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must:

  • Contact Stealth Windshield Repair Inc.
  • Provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
  • Allow inspection of the vehicle at an authorized location

Warranty Remedy

All warranty remedies are limited to one of the following, at Stealth’s discretion:

  • Repair of the issue
  • Replacement of the glass
  • Service credit toward future work
  • Cash refund limited strictly to the amount paid for the specific service performed, and only where deemed appropriate at Stealth Windshield Repair Inc.’s discretion

Cash refunds will not be issued for unjustified or unsupported claims and are subject to review and verification.
